This is a proprietary processor designed specifically for vector operations to deliver the highest possible performance in the regular processing of large amounts of digitized data and other applications. Due to the capability of parallel processing, it is possible to achieve arithmetic operations comparable to supercomputers at a lower cost. Furthermore, it allows software-based control of arithmetic operations, thus offering the flexibility to meet a variety of computing needs.
In particular, the XTrillion processor has an excellent track record in image generation from the digitized signals of radiation and ultrasound waves (referred to as image reconstruction in technical terms) and has been adopted in more than 5,000 CT and ultrasound units throughout the world. In addition to its practical application as the main arithmetic engine for our own products, it has been supplied as an OEM product in the form of modules for signal processing and/or image processing.

ReconPro is a high-performance reconstruction product intended for use in CT equipment.
It facilitates the construction of a high-speed reconstruction environment with the use of a TR-230 board configured with the XTrillion®3.0 vector processor. The simple addition of a TR-230 board allows scalable enhancement of performance. A wide variety of reconstruction libraries for medical CT and industrial CT applications are also available.
